Coming Up Roses

We never see things through the same filter.

As I created this piece, I wasn’t sure where it was going, but I loved the palette so I kept slinging paint and trusted the process.

When it settled, I stepped back and saw the roses.

This painting is about staying in the work long enough for beauty to reveal itself. What you see may not be what I see and that’s the point.
